My Story …

From the moment I set foot inside a newsroom at the age of 17, I knew media was where I had to be. It lit a fire inside me that grew into an immense passion for storytelling and people.

While completing a Bachelor of Commerce, I was based in one of New Zealand’s biggest newsrooms at TVNZ, working my way up to a junior reporting role. It was there that I began soaking up the fast-paced nature of news, and the wisdom of some of the country’s most well-known journalists and broadcasters.

I then worked as a journalist at RadioLIVE, before making the jump back to television to report for Newshub Live at 6pm. I later became the main newsreader for the channel’s late night offering - Newshub Late.

Most recently, I co-hosted the drive show on Today FM, and led the station’s documentary series Today FM Investigates.

Telling stories is a privilege, and I’m proud to have covered some major events in recent history.

I was on the ground during Sydney’s Lindt Cafe siege, two New Zealand elections, America’s Cup 2021, the Kawerau siege and Kaipara Harbour boating tragedy.

I’ve reported on numerous high profile court cases and social issues, including in-depth investigations into ex-partner stalking, synthetic cannabis, ram raids, online trolls and party drugs in New Zealand.

I’ve been a NZ Radio Awards and Voyager Media Awards finalist, and most recently won 'Best News Journalist' and 'Best Long Form Video" at the 2023 NZ Radio Awards.

My immense passion for media knows no bounds, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
